Hobbies
Varsity Basketball Team Varsity Golf Team. Lettered National Honor Society Volunteer Church Food Bank Member of dosomething.org where I'm involved in the thumbs war against texting and driving and homeless teens. I am not your typical nerd. I enjoy all the things teens enjoy including sports and working. I work as a Dairy Clerk in our local grocery store. I like laughing, having fun and when it comes to my academics, I'm serious. My goal is to score a perfect score on the SAT. Currently I have a 1400 for cr reading and math for my first time so I will keep taking it for improvement. I'm looking forward to my junior year in high school as a starter and one of the captains of our varsity basketball team. Hopefully, I won't break my wrist again! One of my most disappointing moments was knowing I was playing my last JV basketball game as a sophomore in high school and thinking at 6' 1" I could stop a 6 , 8" inch player from dunking on me. I broke my wrist and missed my entire sophomore season. All things happen for a reason is what my mantra is. I got to spend more time with my family and I enjoyed that very much. Family time is an important aspect in my life. I still go to the movies and out to dinner with my parents! I am and have been a serious fan of the MLB team...St. Louis Cardinals. Last year, for my 16th birthday, my parents surprised me with a trip to St. Louis and I attended 5 games at Busch Stadium. On my actual birthday, we were waiting outside to be let into the stadium and the gates opened early and the gate guard stepped forward and called out my name. There were thousands of fans in line out there and my parents never let on that it was me. My mom leaned over and said, that's you birthday boy. I still just laughed until her and my dad yanked me into the stadium. I couldn't believe this was happening. We trekked through the stadium and I was let down on the field at Busch Stadium and got to watch the Cards batting practice from behind home plate. A 16th birthday I will never forget! To this day I have no idea how my mother pulled that off. Mother's are pretty amazing people in my book!!
